Hi Kirsti,
Great question – thanks for raising it.
Within IFME, the most relevant current initiative is the collaboration that IPWEA, along with several other member associations worldwide, has with the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM). The GFMAM's Asset Management Landscape sets out the "what and why" of ISO 55001 principles.
This is complemented by:
-
IPWEA's International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM) – the "how to" guide,
-
IPWEA's Asset Management Pathway – the "learning", and
-
NAMS+ Toolkit – the "application" for planning and implementation.
Together, these resources are widely used internationally and align closely with the intent of ISO 55001.
You can find further details on the IPWEA website: www.ipwea.org
